We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Part-Time Dispatcher/Driver to join our team. In this dual role, you will be responsible for both dispatching drivers and providing direct transportation services to elderly clients. This position requires excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills, as well as a commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of our passengers. Responsibilities: 


Dispatching:

  • Receive and process trip requests from clients via phone, email, or other communication channels. 

  • Schedule and dispatch drivers efficiently, considering client needs, driver availability, and geographic location. 

  • Maintain accurate records of trip schedules, driver assignments, and client information in our dispatch system. 

  • Monitor real-time driver locations and provide support and guidance as needed. 

  • Respond to driver inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during trips. 

  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding schedule changes, delays, or other relevant information. 


    Driving:

  • Provide safe, reliable, and courteous transportation to elderly clients to various destinations, including medical appointments, grocery stores, social events, and other essential locations. 

  • Assist passengers with boarding and alighting from the vehicle, ensuring their comfort and safety. 

  • Operate company vehicles in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. 

  • Maintain the cleanliness and good working order of assigned vehicles. 

  • Complete pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly. 

  • Provide excellent customer service and build rapport with clients. 

  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding passenger safety, confidentiality, and data privacy. 

 

Requirements :

  • High school diploma or equivalent. 

  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record 

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. 

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

  • Proficiency in using computers and dispatching software. 

  • Compassion and respect for elderly individuals. 

  • Ability to assist passengers with mobility challenges. 

  • Must be able to pass a background check  

 

Job Type: Part time, 2-3 days per week, 8am-4pm shift, as needed with schedule flexibility required
