We are seeking a friendly and reliable Administrative Assistant to join a team of dedicated early childhood educators. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Director while ensuring smooth operations. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the success of the organization.


General Job Tasks & Duties:

  • Provide support to the Executive Director.
  • Unlock and complete opening procedures for the facility.
  • Manage the front desk; welcome families and community members.
  • Handle incoming phone calls and return inquiries. 
  • Assist in the creation and preparation of welcome packets.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases.
  • Data entry and other computer-related projects.
  • Collaborate with team members on various projects and tasks, offering assistance and contributing ideas.
  • All other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in an administrative or assistant role.
  • Reliable and trustworthy with the ability to handle sensitive and private information.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of childcare policies and procedures is a plus.
  • Fingerprint submission through Child Resources is required upon offer of employment.

Job Type: Monday - Friday, Part-time, flexible schedule

Wage: $15/hr.
