Position Overview: The machine operator will be responsible for manufacturing quality products efficiently, accurately, safely, and on time for various product families. They will utilize production, maintenance processes, and tools to manufacture quality products that follow GMP company policies and regulations. Position Description:  - Shadow & train with an experienced encapsulator and become familiar with the process and understand the production quotas. - Identify specific materials needed for each customer’s orders. - Properly handle materials limiting waste and maintaining capsule integrity. - Learn how to assemble the machine in preparation for production & disassemble the machine releasing it to sanitation for proper cleaning. - Perform minor adjustments and troubleshoot equipment under the supervisor of a level ii or higher limiting downtime. - Use Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and ensure all paperwork is filled out in clear, legible, and accurate format. Ensure all required documentation is following SOP’S. - Adhere to all Company Policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and GMPSs to produce a good quality that can be safely delivered to the customers. - Follow all required work safety practices, including all PPE in the designated areas, confined spaces, chemical handling, fall restraints etc. - Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work environment. - Perform other duties as assigned. Position Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent required. - Experience within the food & beverage industry is preferred. - Effective verbal communication must be fluent in English, Bilingual is preferred. - Basic math skills including counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. - Skilled organization and prioritization with extreme attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment. - Must be able to work in an environment that is exposed to sensitive food ingredients and allergens.
