Position Overview:
Responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing all aspects of maintenance activities to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations of production and facility equipment. This role leads the maintenance team, implements preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, and manages maintenance resources.
Position Duties:
- Lead and develop the maintenance team including technicians and support personnel; provide coaching, training, performance feedback, - and mentoring.
- Establish and implement maintenance objectives, metrics, and priorities aligned with production goals.
- Oversee maintenance of production, packaging, utility, and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, control, and automation systems to minimize downtime.
- Ensure regular testing, calibration, and performance verification of manufacturing equipment.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations (OSHA), quality standards (cGMP), and applicable environmental rules.
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance work, service histories, inspections, and compliance records.
- Promote a safety-first culture and enforce adherence to company policies and procedures.
Position Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a maintenance manager, managing a team in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience with demonstrated results in team development and performance.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, control systems, and automation troubleshooting capabilities.
- Experience in food, beverage, or supplement manufacturing is a plus.
