Maintenance Technician

Position Overview: Perform routine and emergency maintenance on equipment, machinery, and facilities to ensure they operate efficiently and safely. Such as: troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, as well as supporting preventive maintenance programs. Position Description: - Perform routine and emergency repairs on equipment, machinery, and facilities. - Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues. - Conduct scheduled maintenance to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan. - Inspect and test equipment to identify and address potential issues. - Respond promptly to urgent maintenance requests to minimize downtime. - Diagnose and resolve issues quickly and safely. - Follow safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE). - Report safety hazards and ensure compliance with regulations (e.g., OSHA). - Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free work areas. - Properly store tools, equipment, and materials. - Work closely with the Maintenance Manager and team to complete tasks efficiently. - Communicate effectively about maintenance needs and progress - Record maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory accurately. - Provide updates on task status and equipment conditions. Position Requirements: - Must speak Spanish- Bilingual is good - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a maintenance technician - Must have experience with Electrical-Pneumatic and hydraulic systems - High school or equivalent- technical or vocational training preferred. - Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. - Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. - Ability to read technical manuals and schematics. - Proficiency with hand and power tools. - Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. - Must be able to stand, walk, climb, and occasional do heavy lifting
