Inspector

Position Description: - Understand and use Augurware - Check Augurware to ensure accuracy and legibility. - Get parts - Set up scale to weigh job (weigh, bag, and tag) - Paper tape and label serial numbers - Fill with black paint if necessary Count out 100 to check for defects and follow the "defects process." - Inspect parts for 100% defect free per job instruction - Start "First Articles" process if necessary Get certification as needed - Fill out shipping paperwork as needed per requirements Maintain a normal stock level of boxes used in the department - All other duties as assigned Position Requirements : - High school graduate or equivalent - Must speak English or be Bilingual - Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. - Knowledge of the manufacturing processes, procedures, and machinery. - Basic computer skills. - Must read blueprints and art files - Must know how to use a calibration device, a weight, label, and a scale machine - Strong ability to focus/concentrate to count parts - Knowledge of international shipping if necessary - Must be able to complete job duties, meet job responsibilities and keep up with production flow. - Must be able to maintain a positive working relationship with Supervisor/Dept Lead and co-workers. - Display exemplary attention to safety issues including personal safety of self and co-workers.
