Bucket Truck Operator safely drives and maneuvers a truck with an extendable boom (bucket) to lift workers and equipment for elevated tasks in the oil and gas industry focusing heavily on strict safety protocols, pre/post-trip inspections, equipment maintenance, and coordinating with ground crews for tasks like pumping unit repair and maintenance, line maintenance, tank repair and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

Equipment Operation: Safely operate the aerial lift (bucket truck) to position workers and tools at height.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations, perform pre-trip inspections, set up traffic cones/barriers, and conduct tree/area hazard assessments.

Crew Coordination: Communicate effectively with ground crews and supervisors for efficient and safe work.

Maintenance: Perform basic equipment checks and report issues.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

Valid Driver's License (DL) with relevant experience

Experience operating aerial lifts/bucket trucks.

Strong understanding of safety protocols and OSHA regulations in the oil and gas industry

Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of equipment maintenance.

Physical fitness and comfort working at heights, and lifting up to 50lbs

Good spatial awareness and communication skills.
