- Maintain machine operation with minimal down time by solving machine errors while running and reporting any errors the operator can not fix to the shift leader/line director or the sidel/husky mechanic immediately.
- Both during the production run and after the shift has ended, the operator is to check all of the control point written on the quality control paperwork to ensure bad product is separated from the food quality product.
- Assist with preventive maintenance on machines.
- While operating a forklift, the operator is to comply with company's code of safe practices at all times.
- Preforms must be labeled and stored correctly.
- Load hoppers with the correct preforms.
- Clear bottle hands ups on air conveyors in a swift and efficient manner.
- Complete preform and bottle quality checks and report any misconformaties immediately to the appropriate personnel.
- Accountable for cleaning all of the warehouse and tower platforms, blowing rooms, compressor rooms, machines and all other areas during any down time throughout the production run and after each shift.
- Proper protective equipment must be worn when entering the injection and blow molding room.
- Use the correct color code and store all cleaning supplies in the designated area.
- Assist in new employee training and provide feedback.
- All preforms are to be labeled, boxed and stored correctly.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.
- All other duties as assigned.
