Day shift - $22/hour with a passed weld test
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for welding steel structures, telecommunications shelters, skids, and any other product line, and for plant operations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Reads blueprints for specifications.
2. Welds all necessary components including floors, walls, and roofs for current operations as specified in blueprints.
3. Welds all mechanical components as required.
4. Performs all welding and fabrication tasks in plant as specified by supervisor.
5. Uses grinder to smooth welding.
QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Must have previous welding experience.

Must be able to pass 1G and 3G x-rayed weld test.
SKILLS:
-
Basic math skills.

Must be able to read blueprints.

Must be able to read a tape measure to within 1/16th of inch.

Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written.

Good judgment and attention to detail.

Ability to read, comprehend and assimilate information.

Able to maintain satisfactory working relationships and interact effectively with all levels of employees.

Required to maintain confidentiality of trade secrets, processes, customers, etc.
