Journeyman and Mid-Level Carpenters $18-$25/hour

ULG Skilled Trades has immediate openings for journeyman and mid-level carpenters in the Indianapolis, IN area. Candidates must have the ability to understand directions, follow instructions, and maintain a high standard of work ethic and reliability.

 

Job Details:

  • Carpenters may be tasked with metal stud framing, window / door installation, commercial maintenance and ground-up construction projects.

  • If candidate has experience on roof and/or panel installation jobs, there may be opportunities on steel erection sites.

  • Type of projects include large-scale new commercial construction projects (warehouse builds, interior remodels / expansions, and ground-up outdoor construction).

  • Pay: $18-$25/hour depending on experience and designated assignment.

  • 40-50 Hours/Week.

  • Standard construction PPE will be worn at all times (hard hat, hi-vis, gloves, eye protection, steel toed boots, and harness/lanyard if needed).

 

Job Requirements:

  • MUST provide updated resume with references to support experience.

  • MINIMUM of 4 years’ experience performing commercial carpentry.

  • Carpenters need to possess basic hand tools, hand and power saws - working knowledge will be required for long-term employment.

  • Special consideration will be given to candidates with updated certifications in their field.
