Job Qualifications:

Minimum of two years clerical experience, some inventory.

Experience with Microsoft Office Products, a must.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Abilities Required:

Familiar with main frame type computer systems.

Control experience, but not require.

Bilingual (English-Spanish) preferred.

Production Office.

General Description:

To perform the routine and non-routine clerical functions supporting all production functions the clerk is responsible for completing BAAN computer system transactions and filing/keep office organize in an orderly manner. Distributing required paper copies, documents and reports to designated personnel and departments. Using Microsoft office products, the clerk communicates with others via email, and generates routine and non-routine documents and reports. Call Purchasing Department and Maintenance Clerk suppliers to order all production supplies needs. Answering phone calls/faxing.

 

Equipment and Work Tools:

Safety Non slip shoes, smock and hairnet are required for the performance of their work.

Main Functions (Responsibilities):

Security:

Complies and enforces security norms.

Maintains safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.

Quality:

Complies and enforces Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s).

Adequately carries out all activities related to security and quality of the finished product.

Complies and enforces food quality.

Production:

Coordinates with peers priorities within the department, within the company, and with operators or production representatives.

Work closely with all production personnel/warehouse personnel to help expedite materials from both warehouses.

Order & Cleanliness:

Meet and enforce best practices for manufacturing (5S's).

General Functions:

Performs BAAN Production transaction as authorized.

Produces routine and non routine documents using Microsoft office, such as excel, word and uses email, fax and telephone to communicate routine and non routine messages.

Distributes and maintains files of required documents and reports in a daily basis.

Will communicate with Purchasing Department and Maintenance Clerk directly to place orders, maintain adequate supplies inventories.
