Job Title: Shop Helper / General Laborer

Location: Skiatook, OK
Position: Temp to Hire | $15 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Thursday | 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Overtime on Fridays)

Overview:
A leading custom cabinet-making company in Skiatook, OK, is looking for a reliable and hardworking Shop Helper / General Laborer to join our team. This role is vital in the production and delivery of high-quality custom cabinetry. If you are motivated, have strong attention to detail, and are ready to work in a fast-paced environment, this is a great opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Cabinet Construction & Sanding: Assist with the construction of wooden cabinets, ensuring precise measurements and high-quality craftsmanship. Sand cabinets before and after shipment to ensure smooth finishes.
• Packaging & Loading: Package cabinets securely and help move them into trucks for delivery. Ensure all cabinets are properly protected during transit to prevent damage.
• Assist with Deliveries: At times, help deliver cabinets to homes or businesses, ensuring safe and careful transportation and placement of the product.
• Work in a Team Environment: Collaborate with other shop workers and team members to complete projects efficiently and maintain a smooth workflow in the shop.
• Maintain a Clean & Safe Work Area: Follow all safety guidelines and help maintain a clean, organized workspace to prevent accidents and increase productivity.

Qualifications:

• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs to 100 lbs regularly. Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks such as bending, lifting, and moving heavy items.
• Measuring Skills: Must be able to read a tape measure accurately to assist in cabinet construction and assembly.
• Valid Driver’s License (DL): Must have a valid driver’s license, as there may be occasional driving for deliveries.
• Clean Driving Record (MVR): A clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) is required to ensure safe driving while handling company vehicles for deliveries.
