Pressure Vessel Assembler
Pay: 22-24 Based on Experience
Shift: Mon - Fri 6am - 4:30 pm Some OT
Job duties include:
- Assembly of piping, gauges, reliefs, burners, valves and more.
- Assembly of piping, gauges, reliefs, burners, valves and more.
- Operating hand, air, and power tools.
- Inspect all parts for defects to ensure quality products.
- Inspect all connections to ensure they are properly sealed.
- Properly identify and document vessel parts/components.
- Prepare and secure parts or vessels for hydrostatic testing per regulatory, customer, and internal requirements
- Cut and thread pipe
- Assist in loading of shipments
- Install, align, and seal flanged pipe.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 6 months heavy assembly/manufacturing experience, or equivalent knowledge
- required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have overhead Crane and Forklift experience – certified on forklift at one point
- Basic math skills required.
- Must be able to learn pressure gauges, application, and how to read them.
- Ability to read and understand assembly blueprints and bill of materials required.
- Basic knowledge of lean methods preferred.
- Must understand and follow the quality & production policy and procedures - detect defects.
