Job Title: Industrial Painter
Location: Sapulpa, Oklahoma
Shift Hours: 5:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Monday–Friday (overtime as needed)
Pay Range: $18.00 – $24.00 per hour, depending on experience

Position Summary
The Industrial Painter will be responsible for applying coatings and finishes to large industrial components, skids, and assemblies in a heavy-manufacturing setting. This position plays a key role in the production process, ensuring that all products meet high standards for finish, durability, and appearance.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare parts and surfaces for coating, including cleaning, masking, sanding, or blasting as required.
Operate industrial paint and spray equipment safely and effectively.
Apply primers, epoxies, enamels, and other coatings per specifications and work orders.
Inspect finished products for quality, ensuring proper coverage, thickness, and appearance.
Maintain and clean spray guns, paint booths, and equipment.
Mix paints and coatings according to manufacturer and job requirements.
Follow safety procedures and use required PPE (respirators, coveralls, eye protection, etc.).
Work closely with production teams to meet quality and scheduling goals.
Document coating applications, including paint types, batch numbers, and finish records.
Qualifications & Skills
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
1–2 years of industrial painting experience required; experience in a manufacturing or fabrication shop strongly preferred.
Knowledge of industrial coatings (epoxy, enamel, polyurethane) and surface preparation methods.
Ability to read and follow paint specifications and work instructions.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a physically active environment.
Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
Willingness to work overtime when required.
Preferred Experience
Familiarity with large assemblies, overhead cranes, and material handling.
Experience working to industry coating standards (e.g., SSPC, NACE).
Recordkeeping or documentation experience in paint/coating applications.
