Temporary Medical Assistant (Allergy Clinic)

Location: Tulsa

Hours: 8:30am - 5:00pm, Monday through Friday

Duration: Temporary assignment until end of June

Salary: $17.50 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Assist healthcare professionals in providing care to patients in an allergy clinic setting.
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
• Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records.
• Administer allergy tests under the supervision of a licensed healthcare provider.
• Educate patients on allergy management techniques and treatment plans.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the clinic.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a medical assistant program or relevant certification preferred.
• Previous experience working in a medical setting, preferably in allergy or immunology.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and electronic health record systems.
• This temporary position offers an opportunity to gain experience in a specialized medical field while providing essential support to patients and healthcare providers.
