Maintenance Tech
Temp to Hire
Mon-Fri 7 am- 3:30 pm
$17-$25 DOE
Maintain and repair, defective, or worn out equipment and their parts. Perform planned maintenance on all equipment and buildings.
Responsibilities
-
Perform plumbing repairs, electrical repairs, replace switches and motors.
-
Repair all equipment .
-
Act quickly on all safety issues and improvements.
-
Control making sure equipment is working and is safe to use.
-
Perform all planned maintenance and record keeping.
-
Transfer plating solutions to different tanks.
-
Perform water treatment repairs and treatment of waste water.
-
Follow safety and environmental practices.
-
Repair motors
-
Service and maintain compressors
-
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
Must pass pre-employment screening
-
Must have 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Strong problem solving skills
-
Skills in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
-
Must have good working skills in all types of hand tools.
-
Support emergency maintenance after hours.
-
Have some basic wiring skills
-
Read schematics for single and three phase motors,
-
Must have a working knowledge of starters and switches and their purpose.
-
Familiar with some plumbing.
-
Must be able to communicate well with all coworkers and their supervisors
-
Basic knowledge of welding tig /mig
Special Requirements and Considerations
Physical demands involve lifting, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching and reaching.

Must be able to lift a minimum of fifty pounds.
-
Work with hazardous material
-
Work areas can be very hot or cold.
-
Must be able to work in confine spaces.
-
Need to be able to work on roof top and under roof locations.
