Description:

We are seeking an experienced Hospital Biller to join our dynamic healthcare team in Tulsa, OK. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of hands-on experience in full-cycle billing within a hospital setting. The primary responsibilities include processing up to 50 claims daily, conducting thorough insurance follow-ups, and efficiently resolving denials.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Full-Cycle Billing: Manage the end-to-end billing process, including accurate and timely submission of claims, reviewing coding accuracy, and ensuring compliance with billing regulations.

2. Claim Processing: Handle a high volume of claims, processing up to 50 claims daily, with a focus on precision and efficiency.

3. Insurance Follow-Up: Conduct proactive follow-ups with insurance providers to track and expedite the processing of claims, addressing any discrepancies or delays promptly.

4. Denial Management: Investigate and resolve claim denials by identifying root causes, collaborating with internal departments for necessary information, and resubmitting claims with corrections.

5. Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain detailed and organized records of billing activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

6. Communication: Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders, including healthcare providers and administrative staff, to obtain necessary information for billing and resolve any billing-related queries.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience in hospital billing: Proven experience in full-cycle billing within a hospital environment.

• Claim Processing Skills: Ability to process up to 50 claims daily with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Insurance Follow-Up and Denial Resolution: Demonstrated expertise in following up with insurance providers and successfully resolving claim denials.

• Familiarity with Billing Software: Proficient in using billing and electronic health record (EHR) software.

• Knowledge of Billing Regulations: Stay updated on healthcare billing regulations and ensure compliance in all billing activities.
