Make-Ready Maintenance Technician

We are currently seeking a Make-Ready Maintenance Technician to join our team and play a key role in preparing units for new residents.

Position Overview:
The Make-Ready Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring apartment units are thoroughly prepared and presentable for move-ins. This includes performing minor repairs, cleaning, painting, and ensuring all appliances and fixtures are in proper working order.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare vacant units for new residents in a timely and efficient manner

• Perform general maintenance tasks such as painting, drywall repair, basic plumbing, and electrical work

• Inspect and test appliances, HVAC systems, and fixtures to ensure functionality

• Replace or repair locks, blinds, flooring, and light fixtures as needed

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

• Respond promptly to property management requests and follow work orders

• Report any major maintenance needs or safety issues to the supervisor

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in apartment make-ready, general maintenance, or related field preferred

• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry

• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively

• Strong attention to detail and time management skills

• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license may be required

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks in various weather conditions

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
