Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate brake press machines to form metal parts according to specifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job orders to ensure accuracy

• Inspect finished products for quality, ensuring compliance with design and tolerance standards

• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity

• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and make necessary adjustments to equipment

• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production deadlines

• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications

• Prior experience in set up and operating brake press machines or working in metal fabrication required

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

• Familiarity with various metal types and fabrication processes

• Basic knowledge of measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges

• Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus
