XCEL is looking for assemblers for a medical supplier and distribution center in Waukegan, IL. Assemblers perform a repetitive line assembly operations to a mass produce component tray with surgical/ medical products. This is a long term job opportunity.
SHIFT AND HOURS
This is a first shift position, working from 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Saturday work is required.
SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Place part in the trays that it belongs to
Count components in trays for accuracy
Wrap component tray with linen, table cover, CSR wrap
Work on line where task vary as different model of same article moves along line
Maintain a clean work area
Additional tasks throughout the production floor
REQUIREMENTS
Some requirements for this position include:
Previous experience in a GMP environment (food, medical) is a plus
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance
Must be able to work 8+ hours on your feet
Must be able to work daily overtime on a regular basis up to 6 days a week
PAY RATE
Pay rate is $16.50 an hour to start.
