The Plus Group is currently recruiting for a Trust Administrator for a company located in Chico, CA!


This position is temp to hire and needed Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm. Pay is $15/hr




To create financial statements, reconcile various accounts and prepare required annual tax forms for retirement plans.



  • Reconcile various retirement plan financial documents.

  • Prepare financial statements for retirement plans including stock schedules.

  • Process all required government reporting forms as they apply to the 5500 reporting process including EFAST2 submissions.

  • Prepare gain & loss allocation statements.

  • Prepare miscellaneous notes and instructions to consultants based on analysis of the trust information.

  • Analyze plan distribution notices.

  • Analyze plan documents to determine correct trust accounting component necessary for annual reporting.

  • Tracks all completed work in WIP, Time tracker and company Gold programs.

  • Maintain satisfactory attendance.




  • General knowledge of accounting principles

  • Proficiency in MS applications, particularly Excel and Word programs.

  • Ability to read, speak, and write in English

  • Ability to use a 10 Key accurately and efficiently

  • Ability to work independently

  • Ability to concentrate; be detail-oriented and highly organized in order to:

  • research and propose accurate and detailed solutions to trust reconciliation questions.

  • interpret information and utilize resources to complete work assignments.

  • meet internal turnarounds and productivity requirements.

  • complete detailed trust accounting work while maintaining 95% accuracy.



  • High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree in Finance/Accounting highly preferred.

  • 1 to 3 years experience in accounting/bookkeeping or industry trust experience; or equivalent years of related college coursework will qualify.

  • Must be able to type at least 35 WPM.

  • Excellent math and analytical skills (supported by experience and/or related coursework).
