A leading manufacturer in the work truck industry, is searching for a Production Supervisor that will demonstrate leadership and utilize their skills and experience to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to create and implement short-term and long-term processes and procedures.


Primary Job Duties:

• Oversees production area: Team Leads, Direct Reports, and Indirect Laborers

• Assist in training the employees while providing them adequate knowledge about process.

• Educating the employees about the organizations’ rules and regulations.

• Drive accountability to systems, policies, and procedures.

• Coaching, counseling, and disciplining of employees.

• Accomplishes production results by communicating job expectations/planning/monitoring/and appraising.

• Review existing processes and create new standards when required suitable for our production criteria.

• Identify, drive, mentor, and implement projects that improve overall production.

• Plan and coordinate the responsibilities and shift timings as needed.

• Assist in develop and implementation of quality metrics to drive manufacturing improvements and business results.

• Maintain and enforce quality standards.

• Review inspection records for non-compliance daily.

• Provide guidance to disposition nonconforming material according to agreed quality standards.

• Involvement in the corrective action process. Ensure open 8D’s are completed in a timely manner with effective solutions to true root causes.

• Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organizational standards.

• Communicating with the employees to understand their problems and make necessary changes.

• Organizing and monitors workflow.

• Completes production plan set by scheduling; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results on shift production to Operations Manager.

• Maintains safe and clean work environment by directing and educating personnel on the use of all equipment and resources. • Drive Lean effort within manufacturing focusing on 5s/quality/efficiency

• Outstanding written/oral communication skills 

• Critical thinker with strong problem-solving skills 

• Proven leader of people 

• Track record of success in driving productivity 

• Lean MFG experience strongly preferred 

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook is preferred


Education Background: 

• High School Diploma / GED or equivalent

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing

• Minimum of 3 years in a Leadership Role
