Job description:
Our client is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to join their growing team. This role is ideal for a tax professional who enjoys tackling complex returns, mentoring others, and providing trusted advisory services to a diverse client base.
Responsibilities
- Prepare complex tax returns for businesses including, but not limited to, S-corporations, C-corporations, partnerships, and non-profits.
- Review income tax returns prepared by Associates to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assist with coordinating engagements, including client communication, staff assignments, documentation, and scheduling.
- Collaborate with senior team members to research and resolve complex tax issues, providing the best solutions for clients.
- Supervise and guide less experienced team members while contributing to special projects.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to become a trusted advisor.
- Build foundational business development skills to help promote the firm and expand client relationships.
Qualifications
Education & Credentials
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field from an accredited college/university.
- Active CPA license required.
Experience
- 2–5 years of public accounting experience with a focus on tax.

- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Demonstrated professional judgment and critical thinking abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients.
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
