Are you a people person who loves making a difference every day?
Talent Trak is looking for a Customer Experience Ambassador who’s passionate about helping others, solving problems on the spot, and creating a safe, welcoming environment for transit riders in the Birmingham area.

This high-impact, community-facing role involves riding city transit, engaging directly with passengers, providing real-time support, and helping ensure every rider’s experience is positive, respectful, and safe.

What You’ll Do:

  • Ride public transit (bus and paratransit) to provide in-person assistance and monitor rider experience.
  • Greet and assist riders — answering questions, offering directions, and helping them navigate services.
  • Act as a friendly and visible presence to promote courteous behavior and prevent disruptions.
  • Support vulnerable riders — including individuals with disabilities or experiencing homelessness — by connecting them to the appropriate services.
  • Respond calmly and professionally to compliments, concerns, or complaints from customers.
  • Partner with operations and safety teams to report safety issues or suspicious activity.
  • Represent the organization at community events, outreach efforts, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Assist with training, quality assurance, and internal reporting.

What You Bring:

  • A friendly, respectful, and calm attitude — especially under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping others.
  • Familiarity with Birmingham’s neighborhoods or a willingness to learn quickly.
  • Ability to stand, walk, or ride for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning new tech tools.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED (required)
  • 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing or community service role
  • Valid driver’s license (preferred for occasional travel)
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime if needed
  • Professional appearance and demeanor

Why You’ll Love This Role:

  • You’ll be making a real difference in people’s daily lives.
  • Every day is different, exciting, and community-focused.
  • You’ll work with a supportive, mission-driven team that values respect and inclusion.
