Talent Corps is seeking an Electrical Estimator for an electrical contractor for projects in Dallas, TX area. This position is for one of our clients who is seeking a full-time/direct hire skilled estimator with great attention to detail and multi-tasking skills. Salary Range: $100K-120K depending on experience
Scope of Responsibilities:
• Review proposal specifications and drawings to determine estimates for commercial electrical projects. (New construction and remodel electrical)
• Prepare takeoffs, submittals, and proposal writing.
• Request quotes from suppliers for equipment and materials.
• Responsible for the timely completion of all client-required documents.
• Draft scope letter inclusions, exclusions, and clarifications for estimates.
• Identify and meet customers’ needs, expectations, and requirements.
• Interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others.
Required experience and skills:
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the electrical industry.
• Min 2 years of construction estimating .
• Experience with Conest software (or similar estimating software).
• Strong Project Management skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and change priorities as necessary.
• Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
• Strong analysis and critical thinking skills
• Ability to be self-motivated, proactive, and an effective team player.
