We are in immediate need of motivated Industrial Cleaners / Hydroblast Technicians for projects located across Indiana and Illinois. The Hydro Blaster/Vacuum Technician will perform a wide range of physically strenuous activities that require the strength and flexibility to carry, handle, position, move and manipulate materials and equipment. The operation of vehicles, mechanized devices, or running equipment may be required.

Our Hydroblaster Tech’s workweek is never typical, we often work when companies and plants are on shut-down and in off-shifts. The opportunities we have pays in a range of $14 - 15 an hour, based on your experience and skill level. We have long-term temporary and temporary to hire positions available.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Industrial cleaning job in a local steel mill.

Operate high-pressured water-blaster and vacuum equipment to clean equipment and storage areas.

Wear and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE.) This includes but is not limited to respirators, skin, face, hand, and foot protection in multiple combinations.

Effectively communicate with supervisors on areas such as safety, quality, and integrity.

Hydroblast technicians are to be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

Ability to pass drug test (pre-employment, random, and annual)

Ability to physically control industrial hydroblasting and vacuum equipment.

Basic mechanical skills preferred.

Ability to work long hours (>8+ hours)

18 years or older

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Able to work weekends

Must have reliable transportation

Prior OSHA safety training is preferred
