Job Title: General Laborer Location: Ellensburg, WA Schedule: Day and night shifts available; must be flexible with shift assignments and able to work weekends or holidays as required. Position Overview: We are seeking a reliable and hard-working General Laborer to join our team at our hay export facility. In this role, you will help maintain the quality and cleanliness of the facility and ensure that hay is properly packaged for export. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment. Key Responsibilities: • Hay Quality Maintenance: Assist in inspecting and handling hay to maintain high-quality standards. Remove any damaged or inferior hay as necessary. • Facility Cleanliness: Keep the facility clean and organized, including sweeping, removing debris, and maintaining workspaces. • Packaging: Wrap and secure haystacks for packaging and shipment. • Equipment Operation: Operate necessary equipment safely to aid in moving and stacking hay (may include forklifts or other machinery). • Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all staff. Qualifications: • Ability to work both day and night shifts as assigned, with some weekend and holiday availability. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. • Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 120 pounds. • Previous experience in a warehouse, farm, or similar labor-intensive environment preferred. • Willingness to learn and follow instructions, work as a team, and take initiative on tasks.
