POSITION: Lab Tech
JOB SUMMARY: To perform all Quality Assurance activities in accordance with USDA and National Frozen Foods standards. To adopt positive team member philosophies in all aspects of daily plant and lab operations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform daily lab activities
• Assure compliance with USDA grading standards, and National Frozen Food Corporation’s policies
• Communicate deviations with various departments
• Ensure clean work environment
• Compliance of the HACCP program, GMP’s, Food Safety, and plant policies
• Exercise team working skills
• Record keeping (legibly)
• Set up programs on the computer
• Other duties as assigned by the Quality Assurance Managers and/or Lab Leads
