Machine Operator

Order Type : Temp To Full-Time

This job functions as a general operator position that works in various departments as assigned. Responsibilities are ensuring that production and rolling stock equipment are operated safely while maximizing production. In addition to running equipment, this job will perform various duties such as sweeping, cleaning, quality control and other duties assigned by the department supervisor and/or shift lead. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITES • Cleaning and sweeping around machines • Quality Control on finished hay bales/cubes • Machine operating: Baler, bagger, cuber • Forklift (after training) • Receiving • Loading • Shipping EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE • On site training • Preferred - 1 years’ experience working in an industrial environment with a dependable work record. EQUIPMENT USE/PHYSICAL DEMANDS • Various machinery depending on area assigned • Forklift operations • Ability to stand or walk during the full shift • Lifting weight capacity: 15 to 20 lbs• REQUIREMENTS • Client requests to meet with applicants first to conduct a walkthough of facility. • Orientation provided by client on day 1 • Clean Drug Screen WORKING CONDITIONS WORK ENVIRONMENT Open warehouse/workshop (hot in summer/cold in winter) HOURS / SHIFTS 12 hr shifts 4 days per week. Rotating weekly days off. 5am to 5:30pm SALARY & BENEFITS $16.50 per hour Benefits after hire: 401k, quarterly and yearly bonuses.
