Job Details/Description: Forklift Operator
Organizes packages based on categories and destinations.
· Directs returned items to appropriate work stations for processing.
· Opens and sorts Amazon returns by classification, client instructions, and follows procedural instructions for specific clients and items.
· Provides support for a wide-range of warehouse duties in daily operations and special tasks.
· Maintains cardboard supply in designated areas for Packers.
· Opens and separates U-Line deliveries.
· Keeps warehouse clear of debris, trash, broken pallets and empties warehouse garbage cans.
· Follows protocol for trash compactor including separating batteries, wood, and other non-compactible trash for dumpster.
· Transports broken down cardboard to baler. Bales cardboard as needed.
· Assists with small parcel sorting as necessary.
· Manages, sorts and stores pallets by condition for use in the following categories: good, broken, use for Fed Ex, and broken - for disposal.
· Sweeps docks.
· Assists with all aspects of inbound shipments including receiving tasks, and documenting accuracy of inbound and outbound shipments.
· Ensures all outbound freight is properly matched to BOLs and routed correctly.
· Ensures all products are labeled and routed to the appropriate staging and processing areas.
· Ensures compliance with OSHA safety standards and company policies.
· Prepare customer orders for shipment as required per client request.
Reading orders: picking items from shelves or racks depending on where they are located.
Operate Machinery: Crown Stand Up
Equipment: using RF Scanner
Work Environment: Not a temperature-controlled warehouse
Monday - Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm
