Plastic Extrusion Operator
Location: Holland, OH
Pay: $19.00
Schedule:
1st shift: Monday- Thursday 6am-4pm
Occasionally 12 hours 6am-6pm when needed
Job Responsibilities:
- Packing, palletizing, unloading and sleeving product from production equipment
- Set up and operate plastic extrusion machines according to job specifications
- Monitor temperatures, pressures, and line speeds to maintain product quality
- Inspect finished products using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Make process adjustments to correct defects and maintain tolerances
- Performs quality inspections and tests
- Positions sheet rolls on unwind stand and starts sheet into formers and through the trim press
- Assists in the production and operation of manufacturing process equipment
- Hands on machine operating creating plastics and dealing with raw materials
- Clean and temperature-controlled building
- Everything is controlled by machine so experience with hands on production machine operating of raw plastics is required.
Job Requirements:
- Must be able to pass a drug screening
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Have 3+ years of hands-on manufacturing experience
- Have 2+ years of plastic extrusion experience
