Anglemaster Operator/CNC Machinist

Perrysburg steel company looking for Anglemaster Operator (CNC) Machinist!

Hours: 2nd shift: Monday - Friday (3pm - 11:30pm)

Job Overview
We’re hiring an experienced Burner/Anglemaster Operator to join our steel production team. If you have hands-on experience working in a heavy industrial environment, have heavy machine operating experience, and know how to safely operate and program CNC like machines, we want to hear from you. This role involves frequently reading blueprints and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs, so physical stamina is a must.

Duties include:

• Operating and working with Plasma/Oxy/Plate Burning, Punching and Drilling
• Run a machine that cuts and punches holes into steel plates to the dimensions specified by the customer
• Working with steel plates and various metals
• Will be creating smaller intricate pieces based on drawing/sketches created by processing department.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to read tape measure, dimensions and special instructions.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs, read dimensions and sketches
• CNC experience is a plus, programming of punched parts per drawing, sketches or descriptions.
• Knowledge of steel handling, load charts, and basic blueprints
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
