Forklift Operator

Our client in Taylor is looking for an experienced forklift operator for their facility.  They offer 1st, 2nd & 3rd shifts, $18-$20 per hour, Monday-Friday with possible OT.

Essential Functions of Job: 

• Operating machinery and equipment as directed.
• Transporting material in and around the plant to and from storage or worksites to designated areas
• Packaging, loading and unloading material onto or from pallets, trays, racks and shelves
• Identifying damaged material and recording or communicating findings as directed
• Loading and unloading incoming and outgoing trucks (assist to Shipping and Receiving Dept)
• Inventory counting and control (assist); maintaining and cleaning lift trucks and other equipment used; cleaning and other general shop tasks.
• Performing other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.

• Streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with the flexibility to prioritize duties and multi-task at different levels

Equipment operated as part of the essential functions: (includes but is not limited to) 

• Lift Truck, Hi-Lo, Car, Truck and other similar equipment. 
• Attendance/Hours required as part of the essential functions
• Full time, 40-hour, 5-day work week unless the company approves less than full-time employment.
