Schedule: 1st or 2nd shift available 

1st shift: Monday- Friday 5am-1:30pm

2nd shift: Monday- Friday 2pm-10:30pm

Pay: $25-30/ hour with weekly pay

Location: Temperance MI

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Boring Mill Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience setting up, operating, and maintaining Mill machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a strong focus on quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate Mill and lathes to machine metal components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
• Select, install, and adjust cutting tools, fixtures, and attachments.
• Monitor machining operations, making necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
• Perform routine machine maintenance and ensure a clean, safe work area.
• Follow safety guidelines and adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Mill operator or CNC lathe machinist.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical documents.
• Strong knowledge of machining processes, cutting tools, and measurement techniques.
• Mechanical aptitude with attention to accuracy and detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening .
