Hours: 2nd shift: Monday - Friday (3pm - 11:30pm)

Job Overview
We’re hiring an experienced Remote-Control Dual Hoist Overhead Crane Operator to join our steel production team. If you have hands-on experience working in a heavy industrial environment and know how to safely operate a dual hoist crane, we want to hear from you. This role involves frequent walking throughout the plant and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs, so physical stamina is a must.

Duties include:

• Operate dual hoist overhead cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials as required by project specifications.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections and safety checks on cranes and other heavy equipment.
• Collaborate with ground crew members to coordinate lifts and ensure safe material handling practices.
• Use hand signals or radio communication during operations.
• Follow all safety regulations and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries on the job site.
• Assist in training new operators on crane operation and safety procedures as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance on cranes and report any mechanical issues to supervisors.

Qualifications:

• MUST HAVE at least 1-2 years of dual hoist overhead crane operating experience
• Crane operator certification/license preferred
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and walking extensively
• Knowledge of steel handling, load charts, and basic blueprints
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
