Grain Operations Worker (Metamora, OH)

Grain Operations Worker | Metamora, OH

Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:00pm

OT as needed from 3:00pm-11:00pm

Responsibilities:

• Check grain elevators each morning to measure current levels and product height
• Loading and unloading trucks/railcars
• Weigh trucks and grain using scales
• Use probe to pull samples and test grain quality
• Use basic tools, including air hammers, torches, spray paint equipment, etc

Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 50-100lbs frequently
• Must be comfortable with heights and confined spaces. Heights could go up to 100 feet.
• Able to work in dusty environment
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
• Able to follow and implement all required safety procedures, such as wearing harnesses and PPE
• Must have Steel Toe Work Boots. Other PPE will be provided at site
