2nd/3rd shift - Heavy Lifting, Glass Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and physically capable Heavy Lifter for a glass manufacturer in the Holland area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling heavy materials and assisting in various production tasks. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to safety, and the ability to read a measuring tape.

Responsibilities

• Safely lift, carry, and move heavy doors throughout the manufacturing facility.
• Reading measuring tapes to the 1/16th.
• Assist in assembly line operations by fabricating components and assembling products using hand tools and power tools.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Perform routine inspections of equipment and report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  
  

Experience

• Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is preferred.
• Basic mechanical knowledge is beneficial for troubleshooting equipment issues.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools effectively in an assembly or fabrication context is advantageous.
• Ability to read a ruler.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing for long periods and lifting heavy loads regularly.
