Pay: Starting at $20/ hour with weekly pay

Schedule: Monday- Friday 6am-2:30pm with weekends as needed. Schedule may vary depending on schedule

Location: Swanton, OH

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, with a valid CDL A license, following all federal, state, and local traffic laws.
• Perform route driving to deliver goods to specified locations in a timely manner.
• Manually load and unload carpet rolls, ensuring the secure placement of goods in the vehicle. This may involve heavy lifting (up to 60lbs or more depending on the load).
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport.
• Utilize manual transmission when necessary and operate forklifts for loading and unloading tasks as required.
• Perform physical tasks including repetitive lifting, carrying, and stacking goods in various environments (warehouse, construction sites, etc.).

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL A) with a clean driving record.
• Must be able to lift up to 80lbs consistently
• Ability to handle manual transmission vehicles competently.
• Previous experience in manually loading/unloading freight is preferred.
• Must be able to pass all required background checks and drug screenings prior to employment.
