CNC Operator

Hours: Train on 1st shift Monday- Friday 7am-3:30pm for a few months

3rd shift: Sunday- Thursday 8:30pm-7am

Starting pay:

$18.00 per hour

Job Responsibilities:

• Review routing and set up specifications to determine setup procedure, machining sequence and dimensions. Interpret blueprints and other specifications to determine product requirements
• Assemble cutting tools in tool holders and position in machine spindles as specified using hand tools or insert cutting tools.
• Selects fixtures, part holding, and tooling to machine parts as necessary.
• Adjust CNC machine speeds and feeds and change the tooling to machine parts according to specifications
• Confirms conformance of finished work to specifications, using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, gauges, and Go/No Go tools.
• Identifies workmanship and material defects and deficiencies and initiates program changes when required.
• Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, routers, etc.) according to blueprints and work instructions
• Load raw materials into machines and monitor machining operations

Job requirements:

• Must be able to pass a drug screen
• Must be able to pass a background check - No felonies
• Basic math and computing knowledge
• Familiar with general safety procedures
• 2+ years of hands-on CNC Machining
