We are seeking a reliable, skilled Prep Cook to join our culinary team. As a Prep Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation to make our club's cuisine, ensuring that all ingredients are prepped and ready for our chefs to create delicious dishes. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to food safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Hours: Monday - Friday 2PM - 10PM
Pay: $16.00
Duties
- Follow recipes and instructions from chefs to ensure consistency in food preparation.
- Prepares a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items for cooking in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and a variety of other kitchen equipment.
- Wash, peel, slice, cut, and mix vegetables, fruits, meats or other ingredients for cold and hot plates
- Set up station according to established specifications
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as knives, slicers, and mixers safely and effectively.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and sanitation standards at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal service.
- Assist with inventory management by tracking ingredient supplies and notifying management when stock is low.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and food service practices.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in culinary environments.
