SMT Operator

Order Type : Temp To Full-Time

The SMT Operator is responsible to assist in production across the SMT line. This includes retooling line for each Manufacturing Orders (MO), operating SMT line machines, and inspection of pre reflow placement. Additionally assisting the process control engineer in SMD day to day operations as required. • High school diploma or equivalent • Professional, clear verbal and written communication • Experience using hand tools, such as soldering irons, hand crimpers, screwdrivers, wrenches, and pliers. • Must have experience reading and interpreting documents such as Bill of Materials, drawing for manufacturing orders • Preferred working knowledge of operating SMT equipment • Preferred electronics experience • Must be able to follow defined procedures and practices • Must have attention to detail • Basic computer skills with the willingness to learn specific applications • Reliable transportation. • Able to move between work stations. • Able to stand or sit for long periods throughout the workday • Able to lift, or team lift, up to 25 lbs • Able to work inside and underneath machinery. • Able to work on machinery, on top of steps or on ladders.
