CNC Operator
Hours: 2nd and 3rd shift available both might train on 1st shift Monday- Friday 7am-3:30pm for a few months
2nd shift: Monday- Thursday 3:15pm-1:45am
3rd shift: Monday- Thursday 8:30pm-7am
Starting pay:
$18.00 per hour
Job Responsibilities:
- Review routing and set up specifications to determine setup procedure, machining sequence and dimensions. Interpret blueprints and other specifications to determine product requirements
- Assemble cutting tools in tool holders and position in machine spindles as specified using hand tools or insert cutting tools.
- Selects fixtures, part holding, and tooling to machine parts as necessary.
- Adjust machine speeds and feeds and change the tooling to machine parts according to specifications
- Confirms conformance of finished work to specifications, using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, gauges, and Go/No Go tools.
- Identifies workmanship and material defects and deficiencies and initiates program changes when required.
Job requirements:
- Must be able to pass a drug screen
- Must be able to pass a background check - No felonies
- Basic math and computing knowledge
- Familiar with general safety procedures
