Program Yaskawa Moto-Man Robots and Fanuc Robots that apply inside and outside material finishes to metal formed parts. Parts are formed by deep drawing, stamping, hydroforming, spinning, rolling and seam welding, and machining. Design fixtures to safely and efficiently hold parts during the polishing process. Develop preventative maintenance schedule for daily, weekly, monthly, and annual inspections and maintenance requirements. 


Job Responsibilities: 

  • Path teach industrial robots for polishing applications. 
  • Basic IO setup and system variables for the specified application and end user standards. 
  • Program robot to run parts utilizing a teach pendant to touch off on critical points and dimensions to guide tool. This includes editing existing programs. 
  • Insert all relevant IO in robot paths including zone calls, reposition clamps, clear tools, path segments, etc. 
  • Assist in troubleshooting all mechanical problems in the system. 
  • Development of interface between Robot and Peripheral equipment. 
  • Document all changes in Robot programs. 
  • Sets up and operates industrial robot polish metallic work pieces according to specifications using pre-programmed machine control instructions: Reads work order and specifications to determine prescribed setup and operation. 
  • Mounts and positions correct holding fixture for various work pieces manually or using hoist, and aligns and secures fixture in robot cell, using various hand and power tools. 


Mandatory Experience & Knowledge Requirements: 

  • Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical drawings. 
  • Basic understanding of programming path work and material handling. 
  • Ability to manage projects including planning of tool design, CAD / CAM scheduling, material procurement while working with purchasing staff. 
  • MUST HAVE strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills that would allow the successful candidate to contribute in a team environment to accomplish the goals of the team supporting the overall company goals. 


Dress Code: Jeans, t-shirt, steel toe boots. Cannot wear shorts or tank tops.
