Industrial Paint Mixer

NEW POSITION!!  PAINT MIXER NEEDED - $19.00/HR

• Responsible for the preparation and testing of the raw paint material prior to painting
• Ability to follow instructions based on scheduling and testing of paint (viscosity, rheology, pH and resistivity measurements)
• Able to note correct paint products and batches are used when required
• To sequence paint material onto the loading stations in a timely manner as to not cause any disruptions to the paint line.
• Understand the importance of 6S principles and carry them out efficiently.
• Communicate directly with the paint technicians and able to give immediate feedback on paint quantities and systems loaded.
• Follow strict health and safety requirements when dealing with hazardous materials.
• Follow the strict cleanliness guidelines and PPE requirements in the designated areas.
• Cleaning and maintaining mixing equipment
• Perform other duties as assigned
• This position may require assisting with all facets of waste removal from the paint department and sludge process, up to and including hazardous and nonhazardous waste
