Packer

Staff Management Group is seeking a Packer for our client in Airmont, NY. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.

Schedule

• 1st shift: 9AM - 5PM

Pay Rate

• $16 / hour

Job Summary

The Packer is responsible for packaging a variety of items according to company standards, ensuring products are safely and neatly packed for storage or shipment, assisting in loading light items, maintaining cleanliness in the packing area, and following safety and quality guidelines.

Job Responsibilities

• Package various products efficiently and securely
• Label and organize items as required
• Assist in loading light items onto carts or vehicles
• Inspect items for damage before packing
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Follow all safety and handling protocols.

Job Requirements 

• At least 1 year of prior packing experience.
• Ability to lift and handle light items and perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail to identify damaged items and ensure accurate labeling.
• Must be able to follow safety procedures and quality standards consistently.
• Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and productive work environment
