Staff Management Group is seeking a Forklift Driver for our client in Port Reading, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.

- 3rd Shift: 10PM - 6:30AM
- Plus Overtime
Pay Rate:
- $24 / hour
Job Summary:
We are hiring a skilled Forklift Driver to safely load and unload materials in a warehouse or distribution environment. This role involves operating forklifts to move products efficiently while following all safety procedures and maintaining accurate inventory flow.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to load and unload products from trucks, trailers, and storage areas.
- Transport materials to designated locations within the warehouse or shipping dock.
- Inspect forklifts daily to ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
- Follow warehouse safety procedures and maintain a clean, hazard-free work environment.
- Assist in staging and organizing materials for shipments.
- Support inventory control by accurately moving and recording product locations.
- Perform general warehouse tasks as needed, including lifting and stacking pallets.
- Communicate with team members and supervisors to coordinate daily tasks.
- Work efficiently to meet shipping and receiving deadlines.
Job Requirements:
- MUST be bilingual (English AND Spanish).
- Valid forklift certification is required.
- Must wear steel toe boots while on the warehouse floor.
- Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or distribution setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of safety practices related to forklift operation.
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment.
