Staff Management Group is seeking a Reconciliation Clerk for our client in Dayton, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.


Schedule:

  • 1st Shift: 6:30AM - 3PM


Pay Rate:

  • $18.50 / hour 


Job Summary:

The Reconciliation Clerk is a key player in the production workflow, responsible for managing the return of products from production lines. This role ensures that all returned items are processed efficiently and accurately, helping to maintain inventory integrity and perform client consumption. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and effective collaboration abilities.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the general physical activities of the warehouse to move returns, – this will involve some heavy manual lifting
  • Assist in the general administration of the warehouse and using the computer system for returns process etc, goods in/out, dealing with documentation, asset tagging, producing barcode labels, assisting with stock management, helping to resolve discrepancies
  • Report any discrepancies with Dock Coordinator and work in liaison with production team to ensure accuracy reconciliation
  • Maintain accurate records/documentation associated with your work
  • Maintain inventory levels at high level accuracy
  • Conduct internal reviews to assess material usages before restocking inventory after production. The usages for our client's supplied parts is provided to the client's planner for them to manually update in SAP.
  • Confirms that adjustments were properly made by the client and issues the final consumption. 
  • Direct & Cross functional interactions with other responsibilities in the warehouse. 
  • Assisting with production during slower periods


Job Requirements:

  • Education/Experience - High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands and fingers necessary to operate keyboard, mouse and telephone keypad, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.
