Inventory Clerk

Staff Management Group is seeking an Inventory Clerk for our client in Whippany, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.

• 1st shift: 7AM - 3:30PM
• Plus Overtime

Pay Rate

• $20 / hour

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk with experience in inventory management and operating a Reach Truck. This role involves verifying product quantities in the warehouse, using scanners and ERP systems, and supporting accurate inventory cycle counts.

Job Responsibilities

• Count and verify inventory, including cartons and individual pieces, as part of regular cycle counts.
• Operate a Reach Truck forklift to access and move products safely and efficiently.
• Use handheld scanners to log inventory movement and updates in real time.
• Verify product quantities in the warehouse and ensure accuracy in storage and shipments.
• Update inventory records using ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software.
• Identify discrepancies and report inventory issues to supervisors.
• Assist with stock rotation and inventory adjustments as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following all safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and supervisors in English.

Job Requirements 

• MUST be bilingual - English and Spanish
• Experience in inventory control or warehouse inventory operations is required.
• Must be certified or experienced in operating a Reach Truck forklift.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems and inventory tracking software preferred.
• Strong math skills and ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail.
• English proficiency is required, and interviews will be conducted in English.
