Scale Operator

Staff Management Group is seeking a Scale Operator for our client in Randolph, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.

Schedule:

• 1st Shift: 7:30AM - 4PM
• Plus Overtime

Pay Rate:

• $25 / hour

Job Summary:

The Scale Operator is a critical member of the production team, responsible for accurately measuring and preparing raw ingredients used in manufacturing or compounding processes. This role involves the use of industrial scales and handling equipment to ensure batches are prepared in alignment with specific formulas and production schedules, while strictly following safety and quality guidelines.

Job Responsibilities:

• Measure raw materials precisely according to batch sheets and production guidelines.
• Operate a Stand-Up Reach Truck to move and position materials within the facility.
• Carefully handle raw materials and ensure they are staged and stored correctly.
• Keep the weighing and staging areas clean, organized, and in compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
• Adhere at all times to established safety regulations and quality assurance protocols.

Job Requirements:

• MUST be bilingual - English and Spanish
• Prior experience in pre-weighing or materials handling is required.
• Must be capable of operating a Stand-Up Reach Forklift; certification is a plus.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English is required for safety and documentation purposes.
• Must possess strong basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
• Reliable transportation is required for timely attendance.
• Candidates must successfully complete an in-person interview before hire.
