Pre-Weigh Operator

Staff Management Group is seeking a Pre-Weigh Operator for our client in Randolph, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.

Schedule:

• 1st Shift: 7:30AM - 4PM
• Plus Overtime

Pay Rate:

• $25 / hour

Job Summary:

The Pre-Weigh Operator is responsible for carefully measuring and preparing raw materials for production, ensuring that each ingredient is accurately weighed according to batch requirements. Working in a manufacturing or compounding setting, this role supports the production schedule by preparing materials in advance while adhering to strict safety and quality standards.  

Job Responsibilities:

• Precisely measure raw materials based on specific batch and production instructions.
• Safely operate a Stand-Up Reach Forklift to move materials throughout the facility.
• Handle raw materials with care and ensure safe transport and placement.
• Keep the pre-weigh and staging areas clean, well-organized, and compliant with company standards.
• Follow all established safety protocols and quality assurance procedures during every step of the process. 

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience in pre-weigh operations or similar production roles.
• Ability to operate a Stand-Up Reach Truck (forklift certification is a plus).
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Strong basic math skills for calculating weights and measurements.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
• Interview required prior to being hired.
